Backed by a 2-year warranty, the Rapid-Reel® Pro-Line series of garden hose reels were sold from 2000 until early 2006 and are now out of warranty. These garden hose reels were made from steel and painted in various colors, including hunter green, tan, white, black, and grey.
The ONLY parts that we continue to manufacture that can be retrofitted onto these models are the crank handle, flat-free tires, and a 2-piece plumbing set to retrofit onto these models. The inventory for all other components, including the steel parts are depleted and no longer available. No substitute parts are being produced.
NOTE: You will need to purchase BOTH the swivel and inlet hose to successfully repair the plumbing on a Pro-Line hose reel, even if only one component is bad. See the installation video below. HOWEVER - This plumbing upgrade will be difficult to install on the perpendicular Pro-Line Model GH164-PD hose reel, because the crimped fittings on the new inlet hose (which will be required in this upgrade) will not allow the hose to make the bend and pass through the curved axle of this model.
