Important Information for 4th-Edition and Newer Reels

The current flanges introduced in May 2017 have mounting nuts embedded in the flange body. Therefore, 4th–6th edition reels do not require Item 4015 or Item 4030 to secure the flanges.

However, 1043 Wheeled Cart models still use two Item 4015 nuts with the Item 4009 M6 × 65 Screws, regardless of the flange design.

Check your reel’s parts diagram to confirm the application and total quantity needed. Some 1043 reels may use these nuts in more than one location.
