Current Front Flange
This is the current front flange design and includes a pre-installed axle bushing. It replaces the front flange used on all earlier reel editions (1st–3rd editions).
Important: This front flange will not connect to an older back flange. If you are upgrading a 3rd-edition or earlier reel, you must also order the item 4148 Back Flange.
Will It Fit My Reel?
This front flange was introduced in May 2017. Use the table below to confirm that it is compatible with your reel.

Do I Need a New Hose Strap?

| 1st–3rd edition | You must order the Item 4114 Hose Strap Assembly. The original hose strap or clamp will not work with this front flange. |
| 4th–6th edition | You may reuse the hose strap from your original reel. Order Item 4114 only if your existing strap is broken, missing, or otherwise unusable. |

1st or 2nd edition — May 2009 through April 2015 (Rapid Reel models)
Order all the parts listed for a 3rd-edition reel, plus:
The older Item 2589 crank handle will not fit this flange.
Installation Notes
- A 5 mm hex key is the only tool required.
- Mounting nuts are embedded in 4th-edition and newer flanges, so separate cage nuts or lock nuts are not needed.
