ELEY hose reels are offered in two capacity options. All reels are shipped as STANDARD capacity reels. By assembling the reel with an optional Extra-Capacity Kit, the standard model is modified to accommodate more hose.
Since the maximum capacity of the standard models is 125-feet of 5/8-inch hose, we don't allow any hose lengths longer than 125-feet to be bundled with a standard-capacity garden hose reel.
Likewise, since the EXTRA-CAPACITY hose reels will accommodate lengths over 125-feet and up to 200-feet, we don't allow the shorter lengths of garden hose to be bundled with an extra-capacity hose reel. In other words, don't pay for the Extra-Capacity Kit if you don't need it.
If, in the future, you decide you need more than 125-feet of hose, you can simply purchase the Extra-Capacity Kit and then modify your standard-capacity hose reel.
