There are two possible scenarios for a refund request.
- A price adjustment that involves no physical return of a product.
- The return of a product.
For a price adjustment, the refund amount should be applied within 24 to 48 hours after approval. Request a price adjustment.
For the return of a product, following is a typical timeline once you have applied the prepaid return label(s) provided by ELEY and dropped the package(s) off at a local UPS store or processing center.
- Allow 3 to 7 days for your return to arrive at our Returns Processing Facility, depending on your location, weather conditions, and the volume of packages carriers have to process.
- Allow 1 to 7 days for the returned merchandise to be processed. We typically try to process returns within a day or two, but this can get pushed out during peak season and other busy sales cycles, such as post-Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
- We will conduct an inspection to ensure the condition and return guidelines have been met and to verify the proper ELEY products and quantities were returned. Surprisingly, sometimes non-ELEY products are sent to us as returns.
- Once the return has passed the inspection process, a credit memo will be created and emailed to you.
- Once our accounting department has been notified of a successfully processed return, a refund of the purchase price (less shipping) will be applied, to the form of payment you used at checkout, within 24 to 48 hours.
So, the total time for the refund to be applied to your form of payment from the day you drop the return off can range from one to three weeks, depending on your location, weather conditions, and the volume of packages that need to be processed.
